Custom Fields (collect demographic data)
Custom fields will appear on the Intro Screen and are mostly used to collect demographic data such as name, email, job title,… Using a Custom Field has four advantages over other question types:
- If you look at Results By Respondents, you get a clear overview of the respondents WITH their answers
- You can use Custom Fields in the URL for respondent management. More information about this here
- You can use URL parameters to append information in the Custom Fields
- You can filter these responses later on
If you view your results via Results By Respondent the Custom Fields already show in the overview. This will make it easier to retrieve specific response sessions.
