Extra Settings for a quiz
Here you will find a few more extra settings you can use for your quiz. You can find these features under the tab Extra options in the first list Settings.
When you take a quiz or test, it’s always fun to compare your results with others. This way you can see how well you’ve really done. Also for tests in companies this can be a useful feature. Colleagues can compare results and see where they stand in the company or team, and it’s also publicly visible who has already taken the test and how has yet to do it.
This is how the Leaderboard looks like:
You can choose to either show the Leaderboard in at the start or at the end of the quiz.
2 Quiz timer
To avoid that respondents will search on the internet for the right answer, you can add a timer to your quiz. Turn to switch to yes to activate the timer and fill in the amount of seconds the respondents get to complete the quiz. When a respondent reaches the amount of seconds, the quiz saves its answers and closes.
Once you’ve indicated you want a Quiz Timer there are several more options you can determine:
- This is the number of seconds the timer will last before ending the quiz.
- Choose whether or not you want a bar below your quiz counting down the seconds of the timer (see image below)
- When the time is up the quiz section is closed. If you don’t choose a value here the quiz will save and close. Another option is to close the quiz section and skip to another question where you can still ask demographic data or contact data.
3 Score notation
The score a respondent obtains is by default shown as a fraction, e.g.: 3/5. By switching the option Quiz Score as percentage to Yes the score will be shown as a percentage, e.g.: 60%. Take a look at an example here.
