Fun Games at Work
Your workforce needs to be happy if they are going to perform well. One of the best ways to get the team at work motivated is to regularly play games in the office. Games are fun and make workers happy. Happy employees perform better at work. Here are 10 fun games at work to keep everyone in a good mood.
1. Ping Pong
When you want to keep your team loose, put a ping pong table in the breakroom at work. You can have regular competitions to help create a fun atmosphere in the workplace.
2. Nerf War
If it has been a little tense around the office lately, break out some Nerf weapons and have a war. No matter how tense things seem, a Nerf war will always break the tension in the office.
3. Team Quiz
Of course, the most fun games at work are those where prizes are handed out. To instantly create a festive atmosphere in the office, have a team quiz game where prizes are awarded to the winners.
Another great way to have fun at work is to get a kickball game going. If you have enough open space outside, playing on the grass is a lot of fun. Otherwise, you can play a game of kickball in the company parking lot.
One of the best fun games at work is to have a karaoke contest. Everyone should have a chance to compete and vote for the winners. Make sure to award prizes to encourage heartfelt performances.
6. Lip Sync Battle
If you can’t get enough people at work to participate in karaoke contests, you should try having a lip sync battle instead. You will be impressed by how the same people who would never dream of singing will instead go all out having fun when they can lip sync.
7. Beer Pong
This is obviously best left for the end of the day, but having a few rounds of beer pong is a great way for your staff to relax and unwind.
8. Fitness Challenges
Workers who are active during the day will be more productive. Try adding some things like plank challenges, pushup contests and other fitness games at work.
If you have never played cornhole, it is kind of like a safer version of horseshoe. In cornhole, players take turns tossing beanbags at angled platforms spaced 10 meters apart. Players score three points for getting a bag in the hole in the platform and one point for a bag that rests on the board. Each player gets to throw four bags per inning, and the first team to 21 wins.
10. Nintendo 64 Tournament
Help your workers relive their childhoods by hosting a Nintendo 64 tournament at work. You will be amazed at how happy people are after they get to play some old-school Mario Kart.
