Give your dashboard a name.
Your dashboard is made! If you want to switch between dashboards you can do this by clicking the small arrow next to your current dashboard on the top of the page.
2 Let's add your widget
Click on Widgets to open the widget menu.
When you select the Map Widget a lot of options will appear. No panic, we'll go through these options step by step. Let's start by choosing a name for your Map:
Specify the locations. Link the response field of where a certain item of the address is asked in your survey to the correct field.
If you want to fill in a standard value then you can click the small edit pencil to type in the country for example if you haven't asked for the country. This can be the case when you do a survey in the United States only.
Now you're already good to go, your map can be created.
The next options are not mandatory. You can use them to customize your map.
- Zoom: Allow yourself or the receivers of your dashboard to zoom in and out on the map to take a closer look at the locations
- Choose the startpostion of the map. This is the location that will serve as your first view.
- This is the standard marker that will be used to indicate the location. You can change this to an image of your liking. E.g.: a marker in your company color or your logo
Click Apply changes in the lower right corner of the menu.
Don't forget to save your dashboard! You'll find the Save current Dashboard again in the upper right corner in the tab Save.
Your map is ready !
